Asian food manufacturer ‘Katayama’ came to Tidbury Media looking for a comprehensive branding package including, logo, brochure, stationery, web banners, posters and product packaging labels for a new range of cooking sauces. The logo is Asian inspired and features a stylish typeface set alongside an orchid marque. Labels for the range of cooking sauces and ingredients, representing a wide variety of countries and cultures, featured simple ingredients set against a sleek background. A stunning full colour glossy brochure sets out the company objectives and ethos.
When the Lake District Foundation, a charitable trust based in the Lake District, came to us looking for a brand new brochure to celebrate their first year, we jumped at the chance. The brochure includes a few stats and introduces the trust and their work. Naturally, the brochure features some really nice photography and it would have been a shame not to make full use of that, so we adopted a detail from their logo as a device for holding the photography throughout.

Recently commissioned to photograph the work of Portsmouth based building firm Mountjoy. The brief was to capture the spaces worked on by the firm. It’s not everyday we’re asked to create bespoke illustration, but when Bombay Sapphire’s PR company asked us create a one off digital illustration to replicate their latest Gin bottle, we jumped at the chance. This is completely hand-drawn and digitally painted using the latest iPad software and took around 14 hours to complete.

The exclusive Aviator Hotel on the edge of Farnborough International Airport kept me busy in the kitchen capturing a culinary master at work. I was privileged to be invited to photograph two of the latest creations by Head Chef Mateusz Maksymilian Mitka. We cleared an area in the hotel brasserie and set up shop. After whizzing around the kitchen for a few moments to grab some action shots of a man in his element, we settled into photographing the food itself. Well, it’s only courtesy to taste the goods!
‘Chevening’, based in London, is the UK Government’s Global Awards Scholarship Programme for international students. To promote the programme for 2018/19 we teamed up to develop a fun idea to highlight the benefits of studying in the UK and to highlight that ‘learning’ is in everyday life, not just the classroom. To illustrate this the idea was to transform iconic UK landmarks into study or discussion scenes; be it a desk, a debating circle or a high table. We were commissioned to research and develop a series of eight UK landmarks (representing all regions of the UK) and to photograph Chevening’s actual scholars in the studio, to be placed into the landscapes. The final images feature within the marketing campaign available to Chevening outposts world-wide.
We came with a strong idea, and Tidbury Media helped develop our creative brief into something even better. Very flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic about the job, and delivered quicker than we expected. Huge thanks! Our new collateral looks fantastic.
Mark Newman at ‘Stave Traders’ in Newquay, Cornwall, came to us for a graphic design services. Commissioned to create a typographic marque and record sleeve artwork to represent his music on iTunes. It was a fairly strict brief but Mark was chuffed with the final results. Keep your eyes out for it!
Tony Beasley really did run away from home to go to sea. This book recalls some of the adventures he had during his time in the Royal Navy. A remarkable story that includes his retelling of the part he played in a mission that took place during the Cold War. One that took place on a vessel he had vowed he would never serve on, yet a mission that, with typical stoicism and courage, he faced up to and dealt with in such a way that, ultimately, he emerged from it being regarded as a hero. A hero who wasn’t allowed to tell anyone where he had been or what he had done. Memories of a life spent at sea told with a refreshing mix of dark humour and brutal honesty. Tony doesn’t hold back, he tells things as he sees it. Even if it gives someone a bloody nose in the process.
Commissioned as part of ‘Everyone Has A Story To Tell’, working alongside Author Edward Couzens-Lake, we created this engaging book jacket design and typeset the book. Tony, from Emsworth in Hampshire, was overwhelmed with the graphic design.
Commissioned to create a logo design for new construction business, the design brief was very straight forward and we hit the nail on the head on the first draft which resulted in a 5 star review. Based in Emsworth, Hampshire we supply graphic design services across the south, including Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and beyond.

Titchfield Festival Theatre, based in Titchfield near Fareham in Hampshire, commissioned Tidbury Media to design and print their first annual theatre brochure of events and production marketing materials. Asked to create something engaging in a small A6 format, for easy pocketing, we set to work influenced by the theatres current logo marque. 25,000 copies of the 36 page booklet will be circulated across Hampshire and the South Coast.
Gosforth Aesthetics based in Newcastle commissioned us to develop a new logo design for their professional cosmetic health service. Briefed with keywords; Clinical; Professional; Simple; Luxury; and to avoid ‘beauty’. Working with a colour palette of Gold and Silver to work well on black and on white and to function across social media. This meant the device had to be compact enough to work as a profile image, for example.

Birch Knowledge Academy commissioned us to create a brand new logo marque for their online tuition business. The brief was fairly sparse with a simple request to feature a birch leaf or tree icon. The only other stipulation was the colour palette. We started with the leaf designs which developed further with a greater focus on the tree. The final design featured the typographic element combined nicely with an outline of the bare birch tree. The below logos demonstrate the various initial options.
Issue 13 of Town & City Magazine marks it’s 3rd Birthday, and Issue 45 of Mayhem! Magazine marks it’s 6th Birthday. We’re enormously proud of both titles which continue to develop and grow. Here at Tidbury Media we produce both titles from scratch including the graphic design, editorial and advertising sales. 10,000 copies of each are circulated throughout Hampshire on and quarterly and bimonthly basis (respectively).

Partnered with author Edward Couzens-Lake we were commissioned to design and produce Our Joyful Life, the biographical life story of Gary Hatt and Vera Thornhill. Based in Norwich the mother/son duo wanted to have their life story written for posterity. A cathartic process for many – having the time to revisit moments in life for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
Their life’s ‘journey’ has been dominated by world travel and we wanted to represent that visually with optimism. The book is printed as a short run in both softback and hardback.

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Rugby League annual sporting summary. 1000 copies of this high quality magazine are circulated throughout the Royal Navy and Royal Marines estates and ships as well as being displayed among other sporting titles throughout Royal Navy and Royal Marine Sports complexes. Copies are also mailed direct to Royal Navy Careers Offices nationwide. This attractive professionally designed digest-sized magazine (B5 – 240×168) is printed on high quality silk paper stock with a glossy laminated front cover. Play the Ball Magazine provides members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines sporting community with an annual summary of events and achievements within the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Rugby League including forewords from the President and the Chairman along with stories from throughout the year.
Portsmouth College commissioned Tidbury Media for the third consecutive year to create inspiring imagery to be used in their marketing material and prospectus for the forthcoming academic year. It’s always an exciting three days on site surrounded by energetic students. This years results were received with praise and we can’t wait to work with Portsmouth College in the future.

Tender Joy is the life story of Joyce, a 90 year-old Emsworth Resident. She commissioned the writing her life story for sake of posterity and we were thrilled to accept. An incredible social history and insight to the life of a girl growing up throughout the Second World War and following her passion for nursing. 20 Printed copies of the final book were presented to Joyce in a private book launch ceremony.
Our very own publication, Town & City marks it’s second birthday with Issue 08. 10,000 copies circulate Hampshire and West Sussex every quarter. This fantastic issue is packed full of interesting articles and reader offers.

Brand new apparel company, Warrior State Apparel, came to Tidbury Media with a simple brief – to create a logo marque that would ‘kick ass’. A sounding board of words… ‘strong, cool, urban, warrior, industrial’ is what we had to go on and the results achieved a massive thumbs-up. We can’t wait to see it in use.
CPG provide a high-quality, customer-centred service to parish councils. With over 25 year’s local government experience, CPG’s mission is to maximise the quality of life and wellbeing of people and communities.
As a startup CPG tasked Tidbury Media with developing a brand identity and logo marque. Following this process we were able to begin production of a wide variety corporate literature and business stationery, providing the company with all required assets to start operating.
Womanhood Global Magazine was launched in January 2016 to inspire and inform women across the globe.
