‘Chevening’, based in London, is the UK Government’s Global Awards Scholarship Programme for international students. To promote the programme for 2018/19 we teamed up to develop a fun idea to highlight the benefits of studying in the UK and to highlight that ‘learning’ is in everyday life, not just the classroom. To illustrate this the idea was to transform iconic UK landmarks into study or discussion scenes; be it a desk, a debating circle or a high table. We were commissioned to research and develop a series of eight UK landmarks (representing all regions of the UK) and to photograph Chevening’s actual scholars in the studio, to be placed into the landscapes. The final images feature within the marketing campaign available to Chevening outposts world-wide.
